Just a few photos of my hair

This is what it looked like today, a day after washing it.  I wore a wave cap loosely tied around my head to bed last night and this the result.  I massaged the scalp a bit to gently fluff the hair.
The photo below was taken after twisting it with Jamaica Mango and Lime gel.  They fell out after a shampoo a week later.  I may twist once a month to keep the sections seperate certainly not every week.

Well, hello to all this is Reg and I'm new to bloging, sort of.  This the first one of my own.  Before now I only read other peoples' blogs.  Now I'm ready to chronical activity and the progress of growing dreads using the  free form or semi free form method.

So far, I haven't combed my hair in about a month.  I haven't cut it in about 5 months.  The past couple of weeks I've just been washing and going every other day.  I did twist for a couple of weeks before that and they'd just fall out each time I washed them.  I don't think I'm going to be doing that too often.  It's too much maintenance to do every week.  Maybe once a month to encourage seperation.

I'm going for more larger locks this time.  About nine or so years ago I had dreads that were maybe pencil size but this time I want them to be bigger, maybe between the size of a quarter.   I just think their bolder and more unique.  Now that I haven't twisted my hair for a little over a two weeks the length appears to be much shorter.  Which is ok, I can see a few buds poping up and it makes for a more dynamic experience and a slightly different look with each washing.
